Someone very very special to Jonathan and the Grove unfortunately has been battling cancer.  She is none other than William’s mom, Kay Coats.  She is fighting papillary serous cancer which is in her lymphoids, her chest, neck and lungs.  Every 3 weeks Kay drives over an hours to Memphis and checks in to the ICU for her chemotherapy .

As you can imagine, this is costing a great deal of money so a fund has been set up in her name to help offset the hospital bills.  If you can help at all, please send a check to the below.  Any amount would help a great deal.

Back in July, Jonathan and the Grove played a benefit show for Kay at Lucky Joe’s in Tupelo, MS.  They raised close to $11,000!
